My objectives before I started working with AVS were to have a clear, easy to navigate site with plenty of information to help the prospective clients. Nigel was very easy going and happy to help out where he could with suggestions and examples of what can be done. The results have been good with a lot of positive feedback on the layout of the site and the information. We are currently discussing ways to make the site more prominent on the web to capture more customers.
I am very happy with the AVS service. Nigel did all the basic ground work and I put the information and pictures on the site with his assistance.
Because I am of the generation where computers were not part of my education, I am not particularly computer literate so I initially had problems with putting the information on the site. Nigel was always very accessible and happy to help out. This was done via computer and phone which made it very easy. My overall impression of AVS is that they are professional without being nerdy!

AVS Networks has great telephone support, which for an IT company is a rarity these days. I have used them for years to register my domain name and have always been able to talk to someone if there were any problems. They have a great online store program which they tailor to your needs.The owner/contact is Nigel and he is really approachable. I'd recommend him unequivocally.

When we decided to set up a new website, we were on a budget (like most) but also did not want to compromise on the quality of the site, as we sell quality costume jewellery and image is everything. I am a little familiar with computers so we wanted someone who was willing to create a website that we would be able have control of and add our own products to.
After speaking with Nigel from AVS, he reassured me that we could work together to create a brilliant website that we would have the ability to add and remove items to ourselves. The results from the new website can be seen already: we have a new and improved site which is easy to manage, we are gaining new clientele, and our business is expanding.
Our website was not the easiest to set up, and we made it quite difficult for Nigel at times. Both Nigel and Vicki at AVS have been very kind to us, not only have they provided us with an exceptional website, but their customer service is also simply wonderful. When we phoned (which we did, a lot) they were never too busy to take the time to listen to our needs. As an example, we required some extra changes after the site had been completed, not thinking what the lead time would be to make these changes. To our surprise the additional changes were attended to straight away!

I have used AVS for a few years for website hosting and have been really pleased with their service. I was really impressed by what the new shopping cart software offered, having the ability to customise every feature yourself was a great sticking point.
A stronger online presence for our business has been made easier by utilizing the fully customisable storefront. It has helped us achieve just the right the look we were after and the ability to update new products, change prices and setup product promotions with ease. Optimising the site for SEO is also very user friendly, I especially liked the fact you can tag your pages with search words which is really useful for getting your site picked up by search engines.
After setting up our new site I felt we were now able to push forward with the business, we felt quite limited with our previous system which was hosted by another company.
Expanding our product range from 20 or so products to 600+ required a better and more manageable system which AVS has delivered. Extremely happy with the end result and the customer service has been excellent. The shopping cart system gives you great control over how you present your products. Some good features are the slideshow with full screen zoom feature and easy to use information tabs where you can place videos or add download links, great feature. Some other impressive features which come as standard are the ability to create your own customer forms, a breeze to setup, comes in handy if you want to run competitions and you need to collate details.
Most of the customizing has been easy enough to do myself but I did come unstuck when trying to setup a slideshow which required some code (a little outside my area of knowledge) Nigel was good enough to help sort out the problems quickly.
Overall the package is fantastic! Great price compared with some other companies that will charge a fortune and give you a lot less. The monthly price is also the best around and includes a lot of extras that you would otherwise have to pay for with other packages.
My overall opinion of AVS Networks is that they are a great company. Their website is nice easy to navigate and outlines precisely all the features the shopping software has to offer, and their friendly helpful staff really make you feel like a valued customer. No task is too small, they really go the extra mile to meet your needs.
